Specimen Requirements

Preferred Collection Container: green top heparin tube, SST, serum red top tube

Also Acceptable Collection Container: EDTA purple top tube @ Allen

Collection Information:

Collect 0.5 mL of Lithium heparinized plasma or serum. 

Serum or plasma must be separated from cells within 2 hours of collection.
