Order LAB2256, Cytology Order Request. Indicate specimen type, collection time, and ordering practioner. Label specimen container with patient's name and birthdate.
Specimen Requirements
Collect minimum of 2 ml of spinal fluid.
Add Mucolexx fixative and refrigerate.
NOTE: IF OTHER LAB TESTS ARE ALSO ORDERED, BE SURE TO SUBMIT A SEPARATE SPECIMEN WITH NO MUCOLEXX.
