Order LAB2256, Cytology Order Request. Specify specimen type, collection time, and ordering practioner. Label specimen with patient's name and birthdate.
Specimen Requirements
Collect a minimum of 20 ml of a random urine. Do not use the first morning voided specimen. Refrigerate until sent to lab.
NOTE: If other lab tests are also ordered, be sure to submit a separate specimen.
