Specimen Requirements

Patient should recieve a minimum of 3 doses before monitoring. Draw trough level just prior (15-30 minutes) to next dose.

Collect: 0.5 mL of Lithium heparinized plasma or serum.

Serum or plasma must be separated from cells within 2 hours of collection and poured off.
