Specimen Requirements

Preferred Collection Container: SST 

Also Acceptable Collection Container: serum red top tube, EDTA plasma @ Allen

Collection Information:

Specimen should be drawn 8-12 hours after last dose or just before a.m. dose. If toxicity is suspected, sample may be drawn at any time.

Collect 1 mL serum.

Serum or plasma must be separated from cells within 2 hours of collection.
