Useful For
RECOMMENDED FOR TWINS. Second trimester screening test for Open Neural Tube Defect (spina bifida) drawn between 15 weeks 0 days and 20 weeks 6 days gestation. This test is appropriate for those women who have already had testing or screening for Down Syndrome or Trisomy 18, either by Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS) or the Maternal Screen First Trimester.
