Specimen Requirements

For two days prior to testing avoid: 1) Red meats; 2) horseradish, turnips, cauliflower, broccoli, cantaloupe, and other peroxidase-containing vegetables; 3) Vitamin C; and 4) Aspirin.

Apply a thin smear from two different areas of feces to a coloscreen card.
