Specimen Requirements

Collect 2.0 mL of serum red top tube or a biopsy submitted in a sterile cup.

Room Temp 4 hours (unprocessed)  
Refrigerated 6 weeks (serum separated from cells) X

Send serum by overnight courier double bagged and refrigerated to SHL. SHL will forward on to the CDC.
