Preferred Collection Container: 

Royal Blue (Trace Element) with EDTA

Also Acceptable Collection Container: 

Lavender (EDTA)
Pink (K2EDTA)

Collection Information: 

Collect blood in royal blue (EDTA). Lavender (EDTA) and pink (EDTA) also acceptable.

Transport Information: 

Transport 1.0 mL whole blood refrigerated in original tube. If sample must be aliquoted because shared with other testing, it must be transferred to a trace element-free transport tube.

Minimum Sample Volume: 

0.2 mL of whole blood
